Monkey Buffet Festival is a unique festival in San Phra Kan Shrine and Prang Sam Yot, Lopburi. As the name implies, this festival is full of monkeys and so the attraction of foreign tourists.
In the festival, a herd of monkeys would invade 3,000 pounds of fruit and vegetables are offered from the local community. Not only that, there are also bread, cakes, nuts, and dairy to beverages such as sodas. This tradition is believed local communities will bring good fortune.
